Excellent Mid Century era Sand Cast Ring with classic swooping style and a turquoise stone set into face. Sand Casting is created by making a mold wih tightly packed fine sand and then pouring molten silver into it. The technique became widely used in Southwestern jewelry in the late 1800s by Navajo Nation jewelry smiths.
